We have lots of fun during our music sessions. We have played a tune using the 'Boom Wackers', Shakers, Claves and the highlight being…..playing the Ukulele like Mrs Venn.

Over the past few weeks we have been reading a story called ‘How to be a Lion’. This timely and charming story is about the importance of being true to yourself and standing by your friends.

We met Leonard, a lion, and his best friend Marianne, a . . . duck. We know that it is good to be different and being yourself is all that matters. We had lots of fun looking for Lions at Forest School, making Lion biscuits and doing some observational paintings.

In the nursery we have been matching numicon to numbers on a number line. Children have also been learning to recognise the number objects in a group.

The children have been learning all about their families and presented their wonderful family trees to their peers.
