Assistive Techologies are used across the school to support learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities e.g. Dictation software for children with Dyslexia and Curved screens to support visual impairments to name a couple.
On the 2026-27 Computing Action Plan the development of Assistive Technologies is targeted so that pupils understand that Computing as a subject is inclusive however Computer Technology for life is also a powerful form of inclusion.
