Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Mechanic / Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Knowledge of ice machines, sandwich stations and walk-in cooler/freezer is a plus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/Refrigeration systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and Refrigeration equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot issues with HVAC/Refrigeration equipment using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter and other testing devices.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts and specifications.
Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/Refrigeration systems including plumbing work when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC/Refrigeration solutions tailored to client needs.
Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls.
