Summer 2022 - SST received one of five Rethinking Grading grants from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Fall 2022 - Assessment Specialist John Scopelleti surveyed and/or met with stakeholders (educators, parents/caregivers, colleges, employers, and students) to discuss equity-focused grading practices.
Winter 2023 - SST's administrative team will work to finalize a plan for the 2023-2024 school year, soliciting input from all stakeholders.
Spring 2023 - The SST community will prepare to implement changes for the 2023-2024 school year.
Summer 2023 - SST's administrative team will finalize preparations. Assessment Specialist John Scopelleti will prepare to work with educators on implementation and extensions of this work, including the connection between assessment, curriculum, and instruction.
