Informal polling during Wellness classes showed that 49% of 10th, 11th, and 12th graders feel that grades are not fair, accurate, and helpful. As a follow-up, students were invited to attend focus groups with other students and Assessment Specialist John Scopelleti. They were also invited to complete an optional and anonymous survey. Charts and graphs from that survey are available below.
You can also see a summary of the student focus groups John ran students in Grades 9-12 over the past few months. He met with 70 students during the first round of focus groups, and 40 students during the second round. There is a demographic breakdown of students who attended these groups to identify which voices were (and were not) a part of these conversations.
