This game practices using North, South, East, and West (the Cardinal directions). The player locate the smiley face and then move the number of spaces directed on the page. There are three or more directions to follow. Be careful though! Don't click until after you have "walked" all the steps. Practice as many times as you want and see if you can beat your score each time.
This game practices using a map scale to find distances between two places in the world. You will click and drag the ruler between the two red dots on the map. Remember to line up to make a straight line and start at "zero" or the very left edge of the ruler. The ruler will always be set in cm, but the player needs to convert their answer to km. There is a conversion available on screen available to you. 1 cm is equal to 600 km. So a little math multiplication will be necessary to find the correct answer. Once you have the answer, type it in the box and see how you did. Remember, you might have to give a round about answer if it falls between to centimeters on the ruler. Practice as many times as you want and see if you can beat your score each time.
