Must be a graduating high school senior in 2025-2026 academic year and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Or a college student who has completed at least one year of college studies and plans to continue for the 2026-2027 academic term. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must be attending or plan to attend a HACU-member institution.
Must be a first-generation college student.

The Italian American Citizens Club of South San Francisco is pleased to announce the availability of the following scholarships for graduating high school seniors:
Two (2) $2,000 scholarships for students planning to attend a four-year college or university
One (1) $500 scholarship for a student planning to attend an accredited community college
Scholarship awards will be based on scholastic achievement, future goals, community involvement, financial need, Italian heritage and/or study of the Italian language, and a letter of recommendation
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and plan to attend either:
An accredited college or university in the United States, or
An accredited community college in the United States
Applicants may qualify if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
Are of Italian descent and reside in or attend high school in South San Francisco
Are the child, grandchild, niece, or nephew of an Italian American Citizens Club member
Are a high school senior currently studying the Italian language at an accredited high school

Terms of the Award
Student must enroll in an accredited Trade/Vocational School or Union Apprenticeship to receive funds.
Scholarship payments are issued directly to the student upon verified proof of enrollment.
Eligible programs must lead to an approved Certificate of Completion, licensure, or gainful employment.
If enrollment ends, the scholarship is cancelled and remaining funds will not be disbursed.
Scholarship may be deferred for religious missions or military service.
Awards are granted without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or disability.
Scholarship amount: $500 this year + $500 next year, totaling $1,000, as long as the student remains enrolled in the same program.

To qualify for a Nadeau Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
Student-athletes must have a 2.75 GPA.
Student-athletes must have participated on an athletic team at least once a year for three years with two years at the varsity level.
Applicants must submit a one-page (maximum) essay on “What the Nadeau Scholarship Means to Me".

Each year El Camino High School will award the Tenerowicz Scholarship to a graduating senior. The following criteria must be met:
Student must be college bound.
Student maintained a 2.0 GPA for four years.
Student displayed good citizenship for four years.
Student made an athletic contribution for four years.
Student embodied those values the Tenerowicz brothers displayed: namely, competitiveness, good sportsmanship, hustle, and enthusiasm.

The Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) furthers its mission of increasing the number of Latine actuaries by awarding academic scholarships to Latines who will be attending a US college/university next school year.
Applications will be evaluated on various criteria including, but not limited to, academic performance, commitment to pursuing the actuarial profession, exam progress, work experience, and leadership experience. Winners receive awards of various amounts, paid directly to their attending college/university. The top student will receive the Cresta Scholarship, which is a $7,500 award, the maximum OLA will award to an individual student.

The CCS is proud to introduce a revised scholarship program that recognizes outstanding student-athletes in the Central Coast Section. The Scholar-Athlete Scholarship program will recognize one (1) female and one (1) male from each league to receive a minimum of $500 each.
Out of these eight (8) females and eight (8) male student-athletes put forward to the CCS Office, one (1) female and one (1) male will be chosen for the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, with each receiving a $1,500 scholarship. The remaining 14 nominees will receive $500 each.
For student-athletes interested in applying, please complete this entire packet. This entire packet should be completed and returned/forwarded to your Principal, Athletic Director, or designated representative at your school.
This person will review your application and will forward to the League Office for review. The deadline for applications to be received by your League Office is February 10, 2026. Included in this packet is a checklist, so that you ensure that you return all requirements to your school. The league office will put forth one (1) female and one (1) male student-athlete to the CCS and winners will be notified by the CCS Office.
