Mac OS Tips & Tricks

To take a screen shot of a certain region, hold down Shift, Command, Control, and the number "4" keys (all together), then click and drag the region you want to capture. It is then in system memory, and you can "paste" in an email or any other file.
To expand a window to fill the screen without maximizing it (and thereby hiding the menu bar) hold down the Command and Option keys while clicking the green "maximize" button on the top left of any window.

Gmail Tips & Tricks

To find all emails you have ever exchanged with someone, right-click on any message from them in your inbox, and then select the choice to
"Find emails from..."

To find email sent to or from a particular person, type: "to:" or "from:" and then the name of the person. You can also add "has:attachment" if you want to only see messages that included attachments.

When deleting old voicemail, you can just press "3" repeatedly without waiting for each message to play.
