First Check with your Internet Provider and make sure your Wifi service is set up correctly.
Try resetting the wifi on the Chromebook. In the bottom-right corner of the screen, click into the area with the Wi-Fi symbol
Disable it, by clicking on the wifi symbol again. ( you'll see it change to an outline).
2. Re-enable it by clicking on it again, or by clicking "Not connected" — you'll see the wifi button turn on and it will automatically search for local networks.
3. If you've already established a local Wi-Fi connection, it should automatically connect. Otherwise, select one from the available list and enter the password,
3b. or try clicking the Wi-Fi button with the plus sign (next to the place where you would toggle the Wi-Fi on or off) to join another network. Enter the SSID of the network you want to join, then enter the password, if necessary.
If it is still not connecting, restart the Chromebook by clicking the power button and the refresh button at the same time. Then try steps 1-3 again.
Also, try connecting to another wifi connection at a library or friends house. If you are able to connect there, the issue is with your wifi. Again, contact your internet provider.
If all else fails, contact Springfield School District Technical Support.
