Enabling Flash on a Chromebook

Flash will be phased out by December 2020. By default Flash is disabled, but you can still enable Flash for now. Here is how.

On the right side of the address bar you will see and icon that looks like a puzzle piece. Click on it.

This will open a dropdown that says Manage, Click on Manage.

This will open up settings in a new tab. Click on the switch that currently is set to "Block sites running from FLash". It will change to say "Ask First"

Next go back to the tab with the Flash application.

Click on the right side of the address field where it says "Not Secure"

This will open a dropdown menu. Change flash from Ask First to Allow. (This will only apply to that specific site. You will need to do the same step for any new site you go to).
