Great Science Adventures is a multi-age curriculum. All writing assignments are coded by ability level making the program useable for students in grades K - 8, allowing families with different grades to learn together. Older students will use additional reference materials for their assignments.
An interdisciplinary curriculum structured so that children learn about science in conjunction with the other subjects. When children learn about weather, for example, they will be reading a story in language arts that shows how weather affects the life of a family living on a farm.
In the 5-7 and 6-8 levels the science, social studies, and language arts lessons are all tightly woven together. Beginning with Age 7-9, the science units are available separately.
