The Singapore Math method is focused on mastery, which is achieved through intentional sequencing of concepts. Some of the key features of the approach include the CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) progression, number bonds, bar modeling, and mental math. Use of math manipulatives, books, and additional resources may be included in lessons. NOTE: Instructional videos optional

Mastery-oriented and organized into chapters by topics. Thus, in each chapter the curriculum concentrates on one theme and its connecting topics (such as place value, multiplication, or geometry). Each grade level typically contains 8-10 chapters.
Lessons and activities spiral slowly, allowing students to become comfortable with concepts, but also challenging them to continue building their problem-solving skills. Students learn to devise different strategies to solve a wide variety of math problems. All books are written to the standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

The main goal of Math with Confidence is to raise kids who are confident and capable in math. The program aims to help your child develop a deep understanding of math concepts, proficiency and fluency with fundamental skills, and a positive attitude toward math.
Traditional math program; uses “looping” to review. Saxon Math scaffolds instruction of each concept and continues to review information introduced earlier. This allows students the time and practice to retain math concepts to the level of mastery. Video Lessons optional.
