Numeracy - Teen Numbers (11-20)
All teen numbers start with a 1Teen numbers use one full tens frame and then extra (Eg. 13 is one full tens frame and 3 extra)
1. Practice counting out loud from 10 – 20 with your child. - Take turns saying each number and correct them if they make any mistakes. Help them say each number correctly. "sixTEEN" 2. Make tens frame on floor using tape or chalk. - Make teen numbers and talk about 1 frame full plus extras 3. Write the teen numbers on index cards or scraps of paper - Mix the cards up and have your child put them in order from least to greatest.
