- Jesus enters into Jerusalem – Mark 11:1-14- Jesus prays in Gethsemane and is then arrested – Mark 14:32-52- Jesus’ Trial; Peter denies knowing Jesus - Mark 26:57-75- Jesus is tried before Pilate – Mark 15:1-20- Jesus is crucified and buried – Mark 15:21-47

Activities:

1. Play iSpy- Locate items using positional language, eg. “I spy something under the fish tank”. 2. Watch the video "Where's the Monkey?"- Choose a toy at the beginning on the week and every day find a new place to hide it. They must find the toy each day and say in a sentence "The toy is ......." using the correct positional language.

Science - Weather

How does the weather affect our choices?

Move like the weather - Dice.pdf

Video - Different seasons

Activities:

1. Talk about the importance of knowing the weather in order to make appropriate choices for:- what to wear- what activities you can do
2. Play a game of weather bingo:- draw different weather symbols on a grid eg. sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy, partly cloudy, storming, snowing etc- have someone call out those particular types of weather- try to get three in a row
3. Move like the weather - Dice- print and roll the dice to get your body moving like particular types of weather

Sport

Try freeze with your body in different positions

Activities

1. Play a game of Simon Says, while using positional language (including left and right)- eg Simon says put your hands behind your left knee
2. Dance the Hokey Pokey- Teach the dance. Explain the different directions to move the body 3. Give instructions to move, such as:- Stand next to the chair- Sit on the bed- Stand behind d the door- Sit in front of the fridge- Lie underneath the window

Arts and crafts

Art

Find some small toys (preferably animals) that you can place down next to your paper to trace the shadow that is cast.
After tracing your toy, draw the environment that you might find them in.
