Monte Vista Wellness Center

Our mission is to improve the well-being and educational outcomes of students by offering respectful, responsive, and actionable support and tools at each of our high school campuses.

The Monte Vista Wellness Center is located on the back side the Main Office building.  Enter through the gate behind the Lower Quad. (Look for the red umbrellas!)

Wellness centers on high school campuses provide increased early interventions for students who are experiencing social-emotional or mental health challenges that may affect their ability to learn in the classroom.

Students can participate in a variety of different services which include short "reset breaks", mental health counseling, support groups, referrals to community agencies, self-efficacy skills, and more.

Wellness services provided to students are free and confidential.

Anyone can refer a student to the Wellness Center by contacting the student's counselor or the wellness center coordinator (rwhite2@srvusd.net) directly via email.

Students seeking support are always welcome to drop in to request services.

In addition to drop in support, we offer lunchtime activities and student workshops. Check out our events page for more information!

Find additional mental health resources and activities on our resource webpage here and in our master doc of community resources here

The Wellness Center is closed for the summer, but will reopen on the first day of school on August 10th, 2023.
