NCAA Eligibility for Student-Athletes (ncaa.org):

If students hope to compete in Division I, II, or III athletics at the collegiate level, they must be cleared through the NCAA Eligibility Center in addition to being accepted by the college or university. These requirements are often different than those required for college entrance. Students can register at eligibilitycenter.org and find out more information there. Students must be registered in order to begin the recruiting process, so registration should occur prior to the senior year of high school.
