Welcome to our new Year 2 classmates- Eleanor has joined Mrs Bearman's class and Lincoln and Van have joined Mrs Meyer's class. We already feel like we have known tham forever. On Friday Van could not believe he had only been at our school for 5 days!  Both classes now have 22 students.

They take ages for children to eat.

Wednesday 14th Feb- Ash Wednesday Liturgy at 10.30am. You are welcome to attend. This marks the beginning of the Lent season. The students will be choosing an action that can help them to care for their family, friends, schoolmates or their world in a special way during Lent. Please ask tham what they have chosen to do and praise their efforts in this.  At the liturgy we use cold ashes to mark out foreheads with a cross to remind us that we want to be more like Jesus.

Thursday 15th Feb- Library. Sadly we could not allow some students to borrow books last week as we did not have their library bags,  Please send these along. Books should be returned every week to borrow new ones unless they are very long or your child is enjoying the story.
