About this class

Seventh grade math is a crucial year in math. We will be learning all about proportional relationships, rational numbers, algebra, geometry and probability.

The math curriculum we’ll be using is Open Up Resources 6–8 Math.  With Open Up Math, students learn that math isn’t just about memorizing rules, it’s about rolling up your sleeves and diving in. The curriculum is built around hands-on activities that help students understand mathematical concepts. Another feature of this curriculum is the peer collaboration. Students regularly collaborate on activities and problem-solve in pairs or teams.
