Organize Youtube Videos

Use playlists to organize your Youtube content. Playlists group together/tag videos for better organization.  These can be videos you have created or videos that you curate from other sources.

A single video can be tagged to multiple playlists.

Gmail Vacation Responses

Turn on a vacation responder before starting summer break. It's nice to remind parents or students who might email you over the summer that you'll only be checking your email sporadically for a while or not at all until a certain date. Gmail makes it easy to turn on vacation responders. Here's is Richard Byrne's video to show you how. If you do check your email during vacation, message templates can be a big time-saver. Use this method in Gmail to create canned messages

Posting your final grades

Follow the step-by-step directions from School Counselor's office to post your final grades in Infinite Campus.

Back up Your Mac

It is important to back up important files and discard ones you no longer need.

We suggest that you back up your work to your spsdme.org Google Drive account, however, you should choose the backup procedure that works best for you. It is your responsibility to make sure that your files are backed up correctly and that you can open them in a new location.

Diigo Bookmarks

Diigo is a social bookmarking website that allows signed-up users to bookmark and tag Web pages. Additionally, it allows users to highlight any part of a webpage and attach sticky notes to specific highlights or to a whole page.

Turn in your technology (for teachers and staff who are leaving the district or retiring)

All school technology must be turned in to Sam Macomber on or before your last day. For information on how to prepare your technology for turn-in, please click here: Technology Turn-in Procedures.

When you are ready to turn in your tech, please schedule a time with Sam by clicking here:

Google takeout

Google takeout allows you to transfer your spsdme.org content to a personal gmail account. Keep in mind that most personal Gmail accounts only have 5GB of storage, so you won't necessarily be able to transfer ALL your spsdme content. The transfer will fail if you're trying to expor too much.
