The Oldest Level students play many leading roles in our school community: helping us get to school as Safety Patrol members, facilitating All School Meeting, serving pizza lunches and walking younger buddies to the park, to name a few.
For these stories, our Moving Up students interviewed members in our school community who kindly volunteered to discuss the roles they play in the life and work outside of school: what do they do in a typical day? What do they love about their job? How does it contribute to and benefit the community?
In addition to an exciting morning of interviews, students analyzed published feature articles to get to know the genre, and researched the professions and organizations represented by the Spruce Street School community subjects.
Please enjoy these profiles of adults in our school community—and help us in thanking both the young reporters and the interviewees who gave their time to make it possible!
