Performances

All band members must participate in all performances (concerts/ parades/other performances).  Please see the performance calendar for exact dates.

If a member is absent EVERYONE in the band is affected!

If a performance is missed a note must be submitted and makeup assignment completed.

The 5th Grade Band will perform two concerts with one in December and one in May.

The 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Bands have December and May concerts and participate in the Mont Vernon Spring Gala Parade and the Amherst Memorial Day Parade.

New for 2024-2025: Required Band Performance Polos
For all performances, band students will wear their Band Performance Polos to give us a uniform look and professional appearance!  Band Polos will be ordered each Fall with delivery in time for our Winter Concerts.  They will be used for all performances year-after-year so please order sizes accordingly.  If cost is a concern, please let us know!  We want everyone looking great!

For concerts and parades, students will wear their Band Performance Polo and a school-appropriate black bottom (pants, skirt, etc.).

Please note, Band Performance Polos are different than those available for voluntary purchase from our Band Spirit Store each December.
