WELCOME

Welcome to the band program at Amherst Middle School! Your student is a part of a large and vibrant music program.  Approximately two-thirds of the school population at AMS is involved in band or chorus.

Throughout their years at AMS I know that our students will flourish both musically and as young people.  They will have many opportunities for public performance, community service and personal growth.

The purpose of the Band Handbook is to provide a convenient place to find information, policies and expectations for band members.  Please take a few minutes and review the information contained within.
