Self Talk: Use it to Soar instead of to Sabotage
The villain that far too often holds us back or throws hurdles in our path is not someone else. It is our own self-talk – that internal critic that tells us “I’m not good enough.” “I can’t possibly ask for what I deserve.” “It will not happen.” We will lead participants through activities to take control of their self-talk, to learn how to turn off the negative voice when it appears and how to use self-talk to reach goals and create opportunities. We will also dissect and debunk the assumptions we make as a result of our self-talk. This class has a ripple impact. It builds from the opening keynote, creates a path for deeper self-reflection and in turn deepens the trust between participants.
