Read: Springboard's tools
As a Springboard educator, you will learn to use Springboard's tools to assist with data and resources.
Reminder: Our tech changes fast! If you see something in one of the how-to videos that isn't exactly the same as the way you see Connect: Educator, don't let that throw you off! We hope the updates you see make Connect easier to use. If you notice something that is way off, feel free to reach out to your Program Leader or use the Help Widget in Connect.
Connect: Educator
Springboard's Connect: Educator is an online teacher database that will help you set goals, capture data, create Student Action Plans, take attendance, check reading minutes, and more. As a Springboard educator, you will update all of this data for your students throughout programming. You will learn and practice your Connect: Educator tasks when you complete the Connect: Educator module. Families will also have access to Connect through the Connect: Family app where they will log reading minutes, reflect on strategies, and get reminders and tips.
Program Resource Site
The other handy tool you'll use during your Springboard programming is the Program Resource Site. This website is where you can access all of the resources you need to implement your Springboard program, including enrollment materials, lesson plans, family workshop materials and learning bonus celebration materials. Once you get the link for your site, bookmark the page and explore all of the materials for each step of the FELA. During programming, you can download resources from the site's folders or save them to your personal drive.
Raz-Kids
Your students and families will receive access to Raz-Kids as part of their Springboard program. Raz-Kids provides leveled reading books for students to practice reading at home with their family and independently. As a Springboard educator, you'll set up Raz-Kids accounts for your students. Check the Raz-Kids set-up guide for help setting up these accounts. Raz also provides Springboard educators access to the Flight Check assessment. You can find the Raz-Kids website here: Raz-plus.com.
