Returner module overview
In this module, you will explore what has changed from the last time you implemented Springboard's program, review Springboard's tools and resources, and complete a Check for Understanding review. If you notice something in the Check for Understanding that looks unfamiliar or you don't remember from your past time at Springboard, be sure to go back through the introductory lessons as a refresher.
The role of a Springboard educator
Recall that the role of a Springboard educator is to implement Springboard's FELA method by engaging families, teaching students, administering assessments, and using Springboard's tools.
Write it down: What do you hope to accomplish in this program? What are you excited about doing again? What do you know you want to do differently this time?
By reflecting on your past Springboard experience, you can internalize the mission we are working towards - to close the achievement gap by closing the gap between home and school. As a Springboard educator, you are vital to that home-school partnership by building relationships with families and supporting students as they become proficient readers.
