A "penny war" is a fundraising competition. The different classrooms collect coins, with pennies adding positive value to their total while other money like nickels, dimes, quarters, and any paper money subtracts points from that classroom's total, essentially "sabotaging" them; the classroom with the highest net money value at the end wins.
Money from this year's Penny War will be going to the Pacific Southwest District of the LCMS to help Lutheran schools who have had families impacted by the wildfires in California.
During Lutheran Schools Week one of our activities will be an afternoon of fun playing board games. Please have your child bring in their favorite board game LABELED WITH YOUR NAME by Friday, January 24th.
Our students have been working diligently on their science fair projects and we look forward to seeing all of the great projects.
Come out on Friday, January 31st to see what they have been learning.
Science Fair runs from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Can't wait to see you there!
We are excited to host a Mom-and-Son Fun Night with Fowling, Corn Hole, Bounce Houses, and a Pizza Glow Party!!

Parents,
We are switching to a new school management system. We are currently in the process of building it from the ground up with the company FACTS. For the most part - you will not be interacting with the new system until next year. HOWEVER - it MAY impact our re-enrollment process. Please watch for messages to help with this process.
On that note... Be on the lookout for re-enrollment information!! It will be here before you know it!! Remember registration is $250 PER CHILD and that we ask for a $100 deposit PER CHILD by March 1st; the remainder of the registration fees are due by July 31st.
Our first Auction meeting is Wednesday, January 29th at 2:45 in the Auction Room
Now accepting donations for this year's auction!
Reminder, each family is required to donate a basket valued at $100, whether donated by the family or procured from a business. There will be tags on the PTL bulletin board in the lobby that will need to be filled out and attached to the item before it is turned in to the office. Stay tuned here for upcoming auction meeting times. There are donation letters and ad forms in the files on the wall outside the school office, take as many as you need! We are looking forward to another great auction!
Like to bowl? Strikers Youth bowling leagues are starting soon. They have leagues for ages 4 through 14!
Please take a look at the flyer to sign up now.
If you have nice GROUP pictures from any of our events this year you can upload them so they can be put in our yearbook. Please don't upload pictures of just 1 or 2 students - we want everybody to make it into the yearbook! Sports, Rejoice Together Field trip, Apple Orchard, Harvest Party, Trunk or Treat, and anything else upcoming will make great pictures to remember this year.
