Hi Students and Families,
I hope this helps bring some calm you as we all move forward in the uncharted territory over the next two weeks. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We are all doing our very best to meet the needs of your students. If there are any issues on your end please let me know so we can make any necessary corrections. deanne.gillette@spectrumcharter.org or amy.munn@spectrumcharter.org
I am trying to keep things simple and an easy transition for us all. That being said, we are going to stay with the basics of what the students in my class already know how to do. Hopefully, this will help them along as they learn to navigate a new platform of learning. We will have live video conference sessions and pre-recorded ones. We will have appointment times set up for one on one instruction or questions. Below you will find a short synopsis of what we see a distance learning class would look like:
Please login on to Canvas on Mondays and Wednesdays. Complete one module (lesson) a day. This will mark your attendance for the class that day.
You will continue to send emails to Ms. Amy. We will go over the email with you online during a live session.
Please login on to Canvas on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Complete two assignments a day. This will mark your attendance for the class that day.
You will be doing a Rocket Math, Mathspace, and/or a worksheet.
