9:00am Coaches Meeting
9:30am Relay Events: 4x100M / 4x400M
10:00am Morning Track Events: 50M Dash (Jrs Only) 100M Dash 200M Dash 400M Run 800M Run
12:30pm Lunch Break
1:30pm Afternoon Field Events: Javelin / Long Jump / Shot Put / Softball Throw (Jrs Only)
Teams will rotate through each field event station
3:30 pm Team Awards Ceremonies
All teams will be required to fill out a Relay Declaration onsite prior to Saturday's relays being run
Relays will not be divisioned by ability. All relay teams will run against each and points earned go towards team standings
Teams will placed in two divisions
Juniors - 15 years of age and under
Seniors - 16 years of age and over
Participants will be divisioned by ability for their respective races / events. For each race / event, the participant will receive a ribbon for their finish and points for their overall team score.
1St Place 10 Points
2nd Place 8 points
3rd Place 6 points
4th Place 4 points
5th Place 2 points
At the end of the meet each team’s total score will be divided by the # of events that team participated in. This is done so no team has a distinct advantage with the size of their roster. The team with the highest score in their division wins the meet. Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals will be awarded to the teams with the top 3 scores and Rosette Ribbons to teams that finish 4th -8th.
USA Track & Field is the national governing body of all track meets in the United States. SOMA Summer Games will be officiated using USATA Rules & Regulations
All field events will be measured in meters
