The library has now adopted the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy. You are especially welcome to bring your personal devices such as laptops and tablets to the library and utilise the study spaces and resources here.
Only the computers at the enquiry desk will be available for library patrons to use. The library is a place for leisurely reading, research and self-study. Hence, only appropriate behaviour is suitable while using the facilities. For instance, please use the computers for educational purposes only, including but not limited to:
searching for information on the Internet
printing
doing projects/assignments
preparing documents for extra-curricular activities
The School's guidelines on the use of electronic devices apply in the library.
Students must not use the computers for non-educational purposes.
Devices prohibited by the School (including but not limited to: mobile phones, iPods) are not allowed.
The maximum time of using a computer is 10 minutes per session if there are people queuing.
Do not damage the computers and/or the hardware.
Do not change the settings of the computers.
Students must delete all personal files which they have downloaded and/or created after using the computers.
Students must log off all accounts after using the computers.
If headphones are required, please ask student librarians or teacher librarians.
All rules are at the discretion of the librarians on duty.
