Students must be considerate in the Library.
Eating is not allowed in the Library. Only bottled water is allowed to be brought into the library.
Reference books and the HKDSE past papers are to be read in the library.
Removal of items from the library without being registered is strictly prohibited.
Students can borrow a maximum of five items at a time (including past issues of magazines and multi-media items)
Items borrowed can be kept for two weeks.
A loan item can be renewed 5 times at the counter providing no reservation on the item. Online renewal is available.
A fine of $1.00 each day (excluding non-school days) will be incurred on the borrower for each overdue item. Max fines are $40.
Students are required to buy the original title to replace the lost item as the first approach.
Wi-fi service is accessible for all students.
The library provides printing and photocopying services. For colour printing, $2.00 per page will be charged; for black and white printing, $0.50 per page will be charged. For black and white photocopying, $0.50 per page will be charged.
Students are not allowed to make photocopies of more than 5% of a text book, and 10% of other publication.
All school discipline rules apply in the library besides above mentioned.
Our Librarians are responsible for ensuring the Library is used for appropriate purposes. Patrons which violate our rules will be warned, then asked to leave. As in any other school area, discplinary consequences will apply for any violation of rules.
