Blaster Master Spread Sheet

NOTE: YOU WILL BE PENALIZED 2 POINTS FOR EVERY PROJECTILE LOST AND NOT REPORTED. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A 2 POINT PENALTY IF YOUR GLASSES ARE NOT CLEANED AFTER EVERY CLASS.

You will calculate the reaction time of one or two people in your group.
It is the reaction time to bring the sword to defensive position.
You will calculate the average velocity of one of our projectile launchers.
You will match up the values so that the two objects are at the same position at the same time.
You will block or catch a bullet with your sword and record it in high-speed at 220fps.
You will present your video in class

Actual surveillance video of Mr. Long and Mr. Deyton destroying robots with their physics skills. Mr. Dougherty is off camera hiding in the corner and crying.

Graded Portion:

You will submit a video that will include the following:

· A list of materials used

· The procedure for how you will record the speed of the “blaster” (This should be bullets)

· The procedure for how you will record the reaction time

· An explanation of why this recording method will work

· A list of independent and dependent variables

· A labeled diagram

· A Desmos graph

· A video clip that clearly shows your Jedi at the distance and time passing along. The clip will need to be in 220 fps and submitted via Google classroom.
