1. How should I set my camera settings?
2. I think I may have a bad SD card. How can I tell?
3. Where to find your camera’s IMEI/MEID?
Your camera's IMEI/MEID number is on a sticker inside the camera. However, there may be times you need to check whether it's stored properly in your camera's memory.
There are a couple of situations in which you may not see the IMEI/MEID number when you view the Information for your camera (Menu button > SYS (third) tab > Information)
If you just reset your camera to the default settings, the IMEI/MEID number will disappear. Turn the camera off and back on, then view Information again.
If your GoCam is brand new and you have just put it in Setup mode, you may need to change the Send Mode to Instant and let the camera search for and log in to the network before you can see the IMEI/MEID number.
4. What is an ICCID number?
ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier) is a 20 digit number on the SIM card.
Every SIM card, regardless of cellular carrier, has the ICCID printed on the card body in the area marked on the example SIM card below, as well as on the SIM itself. During the activation process, you will need the ICCID number from that SIM card.
Ghost models ship with the SIM already installed, but the SIM is on the SIM carrier card and on a sticker inside the camera.
5. How do I manually send a test picture?
We always recommend sending a photo manually before deploying the camera in the field.
After you finish programming the camera, in Setup mode with the live preview window showing (before you enter the menu), with the camera connected to the cellular network and showing signal bars, press OK to take a picture and press OK again to send. You should see the camera go through Setting...Sending...Sent.
If the camera stuck on Setting, it's usually an indication that the camera doesn't have a good data connection. You can confirm by performing a Hello Test (Menu > Wireless > Diagnostic > Hello Test). If the Hello Test is failed, please double check the data service on your device.
If the camera stuck on Sending, please replace the SD card and try again. SD card information
If the manual sending doesn't work, please contact Spartan Camera customer support.
