Curriculum

Our full day program, taught by dually certified teachers, uses the Creative Curriculum to deliver developmentally appropriate instruction enhancing Social/ Emotional, Cognitive, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, and Language Development. 

Creative Curriculum is aligned with the (Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards) which is what determines our learning goals. 

Our goal is to foster a student centered, nurturing learning environment where our students feel safe and eager to learn.

In order to provide a meaningful, developmentally appropriate education for our students we:

• Engage students in 1:1, small group, and whole group instruction

• Teach students through hands-on, purposeful centers which authentically nurture Language Development and Self- Regulation. 

• Provide a variety of learning materials in each learning center including blocks, dramatic play costumes, puppets, art supplies, fine motor activities, a sensory table, etc. 

• Foster Gross Motor development through outdoor play where students are encouraged to climb, jump, skip, hop, etc. 

• Promote family communication and involvement 

• Help the students establish and nurture peer relationships
