You will design an online mini-lesson based on your lesson summary of about 10-15 minutes in length--including the student activities and tasks (the video recording should not exceed 10-15 minutes). Be sure you are teaching content (math, science, English, history, art, theatre, music, PE, or foreign language). You will produce (video record and post with online tasks as a stand-alone 10-15 minute lesson) to meet your online video-recorded lesson requirement (see below).
For this assignment, you will be creating the video-recorded lesson described above. Include your video recording and tasks for students to complete. The lesson should be about 10-15 minutes long and include a video presentation recorded by you and interactive components (work that must be completed which may include responses on Docs, creating a presentation, and/or taking a quiz). The lesson should be self-contained and may be started from your tracking sheet with a link to your video. I suggest you use Screencastify, but other video recordings and editors are acceptable. The lesson should be for the age range and content area(s) you intend to teach. The video must be an MP4 file in a sub-folder of your folder called "video-recorded lesson." All other tasks, files, Google forms etc, and student products (samples of work made by a student are included), must be in the same "Lesson Summary 3" sub-folder.
Create a subfolder in your folder (the folder that you made) and call it "video-recorded lesson." All folders and files that students would use during or after watching the video recording should be in this subfolder as well. In the video, you need instructions for activities and should be specific such as "now stop this video and in this folder go to...." or something similar.
