Spay/neuter appointments are made once the kittens are 2 lbs. Drop off is curbside between 7-7:30 AM, this is during the public surgery check in and may take a bit of time. Coming a little before 7 or right at 7:30 can be the fastest.
No food after MIDNIGHT the night before surgery. Water is fine. The anesthesia can make them sick and we don’t want the kittens to vomit. They can choke on their own vomit and this can be life-threatening.
Bring kittens to the clinic for surgeries. If you cannot drop off at the clinic in the morning, we will ask that you drop off the kittens the night before.
Hand in your baby bag, scale, and Snuggle Safe warming disc (if applicable) to a staff member or volunteer who is checking you in.
