Library

Our schools are fortunate to have centrally located libraries, containing books and periodicals to be used for research and recreational reading. In addition to these resources, the library also has an on-line computer database searching service for students and faculty. This service enables resources on a wide variety of topics to be obtained through interlibrary loan service. Our library participates in Access PA, a service which provides access to a number of libraries throughout the state. Students may also use the library's computers for classroom assignments, word processing, and accessing the Internet.

• The library is open every school day.

• A pass for the library must be presented at the beginning of the period for admission. All passes should be filled out and signed to return to the classroom.

• Pre-signed passes from the librarian will be required to enter the library during the tutorial period.

At NPLHS, our library also contains the LA Cafe where students can purchase and consume beverages and snacks. These hours are set by the librarian.
