The instructional strategy demonstration is defined as teaching someone how to do something with a step-by-step process often illustrated or shown using some type of visual aid; students should be engaged throughout the entire demonstration.
Students who are visual learners will have a higher level of understanding throughout the lesson with the use of a visual aid than if there was no visual aid. All students will be able to follow along with the lesson/demonstration because the visual portion of the lesson creates increased levels of engagement.
If there is a lot of noise during the demonstration some students may be unable to focus on what is being taught. If there is poor seating students may not be able to see the visual aid which could cause the students to misinterpret the lesson entirely.
