There are two high schools in the town of Parvomay, the Vasil Levski School of Professional Agriculture and Economics, northeast of the centre, and Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Comprehensive School, west of the town centre. There are also three elementary schools: St. Cyril and Methodius and Georgi Karaslavov and Hristo Botev, and two kindergartens, Osmi Mart and Maritsa.
In the municipality there are eight more elementary schools and seven kindergartens.

"Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" is a school of a new type - modern, competitive. In the last five academic years, the team of "Vasil Levski" participated in and won several projects and national programs for which it received funding and the opportunity to renew the educational and technical base at the school.
"St. St. Cyril and Methodius"
Primary school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius",in the town of Parvomay, was opened in 1836. Since 1890, the school has been called the People's Mixed Junior High School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". Since 1960, the junior high school and the primary school have been combined into one primary school. The current school complex consists of two educational buildings - for the primary stage (I - IV grade) and for the junior high school (V - VIII grade).
"Georgi Karaslavov" primary school has a centuries-old history that began in the school year 1860. Today, the school has sufficiently equipped classrooms, a large yard, a canteen.
"Hristo Botev" is a primary school that was founded in 1929 in the town of Parvomay.
It is dignified and attractive, guaranteeing literacy and personality development. The school has built a speech group, a vocal group and a dance group."Hristo Botev" has: 8 classrooms, 1 music room, a computer room, a gym and outdoor sports facilities.
"Father Paisiy" Primary School, Iskra
"Otets Paisiy" Primary School provides full-day education for children from the villages of Iskra and Bryagovo. It opened the first STEM office in Parvomay Municipality. The school has a modern equipped computer room, a gym, a BDP playground. The classrooms have been modernized. The school works on national programs and international projects.
Primary school "Vasil Aprilov", Vinitsa
The educational institution has a course of study from the first to the 7th grade. The school is financed by the municipality. It has a good material base. Today, efforts to develop the school are primarily directed towards increasing the effectiveness of the learning process.
"Dr. Peter Beron" Primary School , Bukovo
The new school opened in 1957. The name of the old school "Dr. Peter Beron" was adopted.
The school in the village of Byala Reka was founded and developed during the Renaissance. At first, the students were only boys. Girls enrolled years later.
It is called "Lyuben Karavelov" Primary School since 1929.
Today, the school is one for both villages – Byala Reka and Pravoslaven.
"Hristo Botev" primary school in the village of Gradina provides full-day education in well equipped classrooms. The school provides free WI-FI access for all students.
