Some of my hobbies include baking, reading, running, and spending time with my family and friends. I spent my first 4 years teaching in the Chicagoland area (3 years in 2nd grade and 1 year in Kindergarten) before moving back to Northwest Iowa. When I taught Kindergarten, we had a traveling class pet, Pete the Cat, and he got to come with during one of my half marathons. :)
