I enjoy running, biking, walking, baking, playing piano, reading, and spending time with my family. I am married to Kevin Brasser who just retired after teaching and coaching for 34 years. I have 3 grown children. Ryan (29) is married to Christine. They live in Larchwood. They are both teachers and have twin 3-year-old sons Cohen and Clayton. Erin (27) is married to Loken Vande Vegte. They live in Oskaloosa. She is a teacher, and her husband is a computer engineer. Peyton (21) is a junior at Northwestern College. He is in cross country and track. He is a business and finance major.

I was originally hired by Sutherland as a first-grade teacher before South O'Brien was formed. I have also taught third, fifth, and sixth grades before teaching fourth, and I student taught in second grade. I have a cat with two different colored eyes named Zoey. My husband (from Wisconsin) and I have been married for 32 years; we met at Northwestern. I taught Bible and English in Tokyo, Japan one summer while in college.
