Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR)

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics is the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle.

Guardians of the Flame, and athletes, run the Flame of Hope™ in local Special Olympics State, National and World Games.

The Northern California Law Enforcement Torch Run program started in 1996.  Our Torch Run Program participants involve approximately 1,500 law enforcement officers who raise awareness and funds for SONC year round.  There are 200 agencies that include Sheriff, Police, Corrections, Military and Federal who participate in the annual Torch Run.  Since inception, LETR has raised millions for Special Olympics Northern California by conducting Tip A Cops, Bike the Bridges, Polar Plunges, Poker events, Sponsorships and many more fundraising events.

Please visit the LETR Merchandise booth at Cupertino High School (Track & Field) on Saturday and at Stevens Stadium-Buck Shaw Field  (during the Dance) on Saturday night!
