My schedule today is
1. take attendance. Seating charts are on the brown clipboard, on my desk in the middle. Please write here the names of any students who arrived late or were absent. Anyone late has to get a pass from the office.
2. (7 min.) practice vocabulary for this week- rote I usually allow students to use their phones/ computers for 7 min. at the beginning of Monday to practice on www.quizlet.com where we have their vocab flashcards for the week.

3. (3 min.) Ask all students to put their cell phones in the pockets. Please read the policy near the phones to
understand what you should do should a phone not be placed in the pockets at the front of the room. We are really trying to enforce this one!
4. (10 min.) practice with the vocabulary- written. Have students get out their vocabulary lists and locate the section in leccion 8 called meat/fish la carne/ el pescado
complete the crossword about food (that is NOT the Me gusta one. They already have this one and have done it. )

5. (12 min.) Give the vocabulario quiz. 1/4 page that was with the plan today. Of course, remove all items from desks. You can ask them to all turn to face front. There are different forms of the quiz, so that helps.
pick up the quizzes from them as they finish, or they may put them in their box near the door at the front of the room, if you get busy.
As they finish they should find their movie sheets AND they can begin homework, which is the reverse side of the crossword puzzle they did- expressing likes/dislikes of food.
9. (remainder of class.) Each class is at a different spot for the movie called Cinco Amigas. Itis in the thicker of the two classroom computers there. They will tell you where they are, but they have sheets to fill out while they watch. Give them a few minutes to work at their pods to see if they can answer any of the questions on the front of the movie sheet they have. I have printed a key for you to help, if you like.
Block 2 is nearly 1/2 done. around 50 min.
Block 3, too near 50 min.
Block 4 is only about 35 min. into the movie.
