Benefit Structure for Solon CSD

For full-time staff covered by the Master Contract, the District contributes $625/month towards benefits.  Elections can include any (or all) of the following and any allotment over the $625 is done through payroll withholdings:  health, dental, vision, critical care insurance, and accident insurance.  Part-time staff covered by the Master Contract are afforded 1/2 of the full time benefit.

For full-time employees not covered by the Master Contract (not including Administration), the District contributes $500/month towards benefits.  Elections can include any (or all) of the following and any allotment over the $500 is done through payroll withholdings:  health, dental, vision, critical care insurance, and accident insurance.  Part-time employees receive 1/2 of the full-time benefit.

For District Administration, the District contributes $1,250/month towards benefits.  Elections can include any (or all) of the following and allotment over the $1,250 is done through payroll withholdings:  health, dental, vision, critical care insurance, and accident insurance.  

Benefits that are completely paid by the District for full-time and part-time employees are: term life insurance ($40K full-time staff, $20K part-time staff, $50K District Admin), accidental death/disability and long-term disability.
