Nutrition Finance
Nutrition Director, Becky West, provided the Board of Education with an overview of the Nutrition Fund on November 15, 2022. During the presentation Mrs. West highlighted the program finances, staffing and partipation numbers. Lastly, Mrs. West proposed for the Board to approve providing free breakfasts for the students starting December 1, 2022 and continuing until the last day of the 2022-2023 school year. This proposal is/was based on the current financial standing of the Nutrition Fund. The Board approved this proposal under the Action Items on the 11/15/22 Board of Education agenda and recognized costs associated with the meals would be covered by the Nutrition Fund.
