What's the difference between the sat and act?

The three main differences between the SAT and ACT are how they are scored, the amount of time allotted, and content areas. The SAT includes a math section where you cannot use a calculator; the ACT allows you to use a calculator on all math questions. The ACT also includes a science section that focuses on reading comprehension. In reality, the SAT does test on science reading comprehension as well, but it is included in the reading section.
