Dear Future Middle School SCALE student,

The transition from Elementary to Middle School can be challenging! For private schoolers, switching classes, finding your group in the lunchroom, and sometimes even the amount of homework can be overwhelming. For homeschoolers, the homework amount and different ways of getting work done can be a challenge! SCALE can help you, and your parents, navigate your middle school schedule and can offer electives you're interested in, not just electives offered in your current school setting (we have 20+ to choose from!).

SCALE was designed with you in mind! We offer the best of both the academic and the athletic worlds Social Circle City Schools has to offer. SCALE is designed to provide access to academically rigorous coursework, support from a certified educator, and access to extracurricular activities such as JROTC, Band, and athletics.

Outside of JROTC and Band, SCALE coursework takes place entirely online through a secure and robust platform.

By enrolling in SCALE, you are granted opportunities to:

• become better familiarized with high school program and courses

• engage in full access of courses dedicated to rigor, flexibility, support & access

• join our middle school competitive sports teams; all of our athletic programs span from 6th - 12th grade with access to many of the same coaches for Middle and High school sports!

• partipate in clubs
