WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TRANSFERRING FROM MY PRIVATE SCHOOL TO SCALE?
Beyond the obvious cost-savings, our students love the freedom to customize their daily schedules as it fits into their personal schedule. They also enjoy the freedom of being able to work part-time, train towards their professional sporting career, or even sleep in later than the average student!
Our students are also able to participate in team sports their private school may not offer. Check out our sport offerings here!
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TRANSFERRING FROM MY HOME STUDY/SCHOOL TO SCALE?
In addition to private-school benefits (see above!), we have found the benefits of being involved in the SCALE program for middle and high school very practical for our home study and home schooling community! While there are more reasons, here are our top 3:
Scholarship Eligibility
Full established curriculum, teaching and support from our online platform provider
Participation in club & athletics for sportsmanship, teamwork and scholarship eligibility
HOW DO I APPLY TO SCALE?

IS THERE TUITION? IF SO, HOW MUCH DOES SCALE COST?

SCALE is accredited through Social Circle City Schools. We encourage you to look at our accreditation on the Social Circle City Schools website!

SCALE follows the same calendar year as Social Circle High School. Please visit the district website for up to date calendar information.
CAN MY CHILD PARTICIPATE IN SOCIAL CIRCLE MIDDLE AND/OR HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES WHILE IN SCALE?
Yes! Students will be able to participate in during in band, JROTC, athletics, and all other extra curricular activities.
DOES SCALE OFFER AP COURSES?
Sure Do! Right now, our offerings are in core courses, Foreign Language, Psychology & Human Geography. You can find our full list on our High School page.
COULD MY CHILD BE ELIGIBLE FOR TOP 10, SALUTATORIAN, VALEDICTORIAN, OR STAR STUDENT BY PARTICIPATING IN SCALE?
Yes. As is the case in the traditional Social Circle High School environment, students must have been enrolled at Social Circle High School (or in SCALE) for two full years prior to the January before they graduate (by January of their Sophomore Year) in order to be considered for these honors.
If they meet that requirement, they are eligible to receive those honors.
AS A SCALE STUDENT, WILL I EVER BE ON CAMPUS?
SCALE students are required to be on campus to take unit tests and exams. These dates are scheduled by the student/student's family in order to fit into your schedules.
If a SCALE student is interested in receiving in-person guidance or tutoring, this can also be done on campus with our Program Director.
If a SCALE student is taking one of the few offered on campus courses, then there will be an on campus attendance requirement.
HOW IS SCALE HANDLING COVID PROTOCOLS?
The SCALE program follows all Social Circle City Schools guidelines in relation to Covid-19 best practices. These include wearing a mask, when social distancing is not possible, washing & sanitizing hands, reporting close contact or any illness to the school nurse & temperature checks prior to entering the building.
SCALE students can expect all administration, staff and other students are following these guidelines. They will be enforced; thank you for your compliance with keeping our community safe.
