Testimonials
"[SROHS] allows you to choose how to do things. They have very attentive teachers that will help with anything.
"SROHS is providing incentives for students to excel with a fun Panther Coins program. The school shows care about individual student interests and honestly tries to accommodate reasonable pursuits.
"The teachers are awesome! You guys are the best!! I love that I can work ahead. I’m not stuck at some place when I already know that stuff."
"The feedback and the mastery-based system are phenomenal."
"There is a lot of great flexibility and freedom ability for the students."
"Their teachers give good feedback in a timely manner so we can complete our assignments and the curriculum lets students use outside classes to fulfill requirements. "
"They are doing well at allowing students to be the ultimate ones in charge. They give us reminders and are here to help push us in the right direction and provide support where necessary, but they don't 'spoon feed' us the entire time or tell us exactly what to do. This is not something I see often in other schools to the same extent. It has been extremely helpful to my growth to have this extra freedom and trust from my school."
"Another thing I like is how interactive this online school is. Some other online programs I've tried have tried to include students in discussions boards, but here it actually feels lively and inclusive. The teachers are constantly checking in, not only for school but everyday life as well. They also host activities in the different areas of Idaho so that every student has a chance to meet each other in person and have fun (and it's totally free!). They also host Zoom meetings occasionally for game nights and have a central chat called BAND where students can feel free to post about themselves, and even sometimes get rewards like panther coins to get prizes."
"I really appreciate the atmosphere of this school and all the work that leaders, both teacher and students, are putting in to make our experiences the best possible."
