Professional Statements

When I began the journey to complete my MA. Ed./Admin I knew what I wanted for students: I wanted them to be critically thinking, well rounded students with skills for leadership. I also wanted there to be "leadership at every level" so that there were no directives coming top-down. But I didn't know how to get there. This past year has given me tools and experiences to take those ideas and turn them into reality. The program also gave me the research and motivation behind the practices so that I have a better understanding of all the parts going forward. I started with the what, but now I have the why and how pieces also.
