Schedule:
5:30 pm – C Team 1 mile (Kevin, Kylee, Destiny, Kate, Jaize, Valencia, LaNaya, Aneesah, Mareli, Danielle, Rachel, Brooklyn, Audrey, Miles, Evion, Michael McRoberts, Thaine, Harper, Sean, Jon, Corbin, Tate, Roman, Danny, Cristian, Eddie, Michael Miller)
5:50 pm – B Team 2 miles (Scarlett, Lydia, Nathan, Landon, JP, Dominick, Matthew)
A Team 2 miles (Capri, Cailyn, Natalie, Deseree, Kylie, Emanuel, Kallan, Bennett, Brendan, Jaden)
Bib Numbers:
All participants MUST wear the assigned bib number on the front of their jersey and chip securely attached to their shoes. Use the provided safety pins to secure the bib number. All chips must be returned to the finish line by the end of the meet. All unreturned chips will be charged $5.
Distance:
Please divide your team into three groups. The A team will be comprised of no more than your 10 best female and 10 best male athletes. The B team should be comprised of athletes that can run 2 miles without walking and in under 20 minutes. C team should be comprised of athletes that have very little experience and are still adjusting to racing.
Team Scores:
Team scores will be figured and communicated to the coaches. Medals will be awarded to the top 10 in each category—10 A team girls, 10 A team boys, 10 B team girls, 10 B team boys, 10 C team girls, and 10 C team boys.
Course Monitors and Markings:
The course is clearly marked with a dotted white line. Runners must stay within 3 feet of the line at all times. A gator will lead runners on the course. Monitors will be stationed at various points on the course to ensure a fair race. Flags may be found around the course to present a clear boundary to the running course. Please ask your spectators to stay off of the course, behind flags located near the finish area, and out of the timing area. Additionally, spectators are also not allowed near the starting line.
Restrooms:
Portable toilets will be available near the entrance to the course. Due to the number of athletes, please have your athletes use the restrooms before arriving.
